It should have a warning sticker: Bad Western. As a Native Texan I have never seen so many inaccuracies. Texas today is tough with climate, all nature that will bite and hard on tender skin. It was laughable to see the main character riding and tending cattle in a sleeveless shirt. In Texas she would get a sunburn. And often without a hat. The scene where Sam reaches down and picks up a metal coffee pot by the top is hilarious. If it was hot he would destroyed his fingers! There were so many inaccuracies I wonder who Taylor hired to authenticate the period. I give it 2 stars. John Dutton would be ashamed.
