I’ve just started watching Chinese series, and so far I haven’t seen a bad one. Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace was the first one, loved it, hooked. The second one was The Story of Yanxi Palace, a continuation of Ruyi with the grown up kids acting. The third was The Legend of Hao Lan. Very good with familiar faces in all three. I’ve noticed in all three series, they must film quite a bit in the winter because you could see the actors breath throughout all 3 of them. I will definitely search for more historical, period dramas from that region! Excellent series!! ⭐️
