Its better than the first part. Apart from being rushed at some places, the film tried to keep as much as contrast as possible with books. Hero's acting this time around is praiseworthy. He surprised me when he pulled off Hardin's aggressive side and vulnerable side so well considering in the first film he looked so sensitive. He kind of redeemed the film for me.
