Idk why everyone hates this movie so much, it is obviously a hyperbole and an extreme version of a surveillance state, but it in no way condones what happens in the film. I went into this movie having only watched the trailer, I heard nothing about it, and I feel that it is a relatively thought provoking movie that points out a severe compromise of ethics when you have a major corporation basically running the world. It was a bit boring though, and it certainly wasn’t Emma Watson’s best performance.
