I loved this book. Great POVs and spot-on characters! As a 27 year old Black woman, I identified greatly with Emira and also understood Alix/Alex in her desire to make friends with a person she only wanted to get to know better because she felt guilty about a run-in with race relations in this country. Stories like this need to be told and I'm glad I found it. I've been recommending it to everyone.
