A riot from start to finish with lots of slapstick and belly laughs. Lee Evans and Nathan Lane are hilarious and Christopher Walken has a great part as Caeser the exterminator but the mouse steals the show. If you love Laurel and Hardy you will love this and if you hate this film you must be a miserable so and so.10/10

A superb complicated war movie with an unforgettable theme tune.

A great war movie, it's gripping,tense and gives a real feeling of what the U boat arm of the Kriegsmarine went through as well as Allied crews. The claustrophobia and terror are palpable and you find yourself forgetting that U96 and its crew were our enemy.

The war documentary by which all others are measured. Often imitated never even equalled let alone bettered it is the definitive description of WWII. Lawrence Olivier's narration is sublime and gives it the gravitas no other narrator could. The World at War is far beyond jingoistic flag waving and is a sombre,cold assessment of the war and it's affects and aftermath.
