I never usually write reviews, but this is a must see must watch kinda deal and I hope by posting this more people will want to see.
As any Godzilla fan knows sometimes you’re waiting for the big G to show back up asap because the human side can be underwhelming in comparison of the action but this is a perfect blend of drama and said action in my opinion.
The human story is very intriguing, now I may be more emotional kind of person so they’re easier to hit me, but the connection to these characters were hard and it made me root for them.
But the other side of the story isn’t overshadowed at all by said drama.
The action set pieces and vfx were stunning and if you weren’t any of the unlucky souls who had the “atomic breath scene” spoiled for you, seeing it real time in the movie is a heart stopper in the best way possible.
This truly was a great return to form for the 69th(or as it’s advertised 70th) anniversary of this series.
And I cannot recommend enough to new fans and old please support this movie and it’s written/director/vfx artist himself Takashi Yamazaki
