Waited so long for this game and my heart hurts so much. What have they done to this franchise. :'( Had to change this to a 1 star. Would give it 0 if I could. I couldn't even bring myself to finish this game. I was so full of hatred and sadness. I'm getting a refund ASAP. Well done Bioware, you've absolutely destroyed a wonderful franchise. Hope you're satisfied.

Just finished the main story and after 45 hours of gameplay, I feel that I can stop playing it now and move onto something else. Pros: The game is beautiful, best visuals I've ever seen. The fighting/battle mechanics are brilliant, wish there were more spells to learn though. The taming/looking after of beasts is great. Wish there was more variety and wish we could use the beasts to ride on or use in battle. Cons: A massive beautiful open world- filled with the same 4 mini games/puzzles. Gets tedious very quickly. Why would I want to do the same thing again and again. Could have so much more potential. The story isn't great, could have been so much more. Involved more locations like azkaban and the ministry of magic. Riding the Broom is great. But no quidittch. A lot of missed potential. Some of the characters were interesting but I ended up skipping a lot of the dialogue after a while. Far too whimsical and British stereotyping. I'm British and I felt that it was too much. Every reward, for every puzzle/quest you do- you get an item of clothing that is most likely under levelled and you'll never wear. It was an alright game, but I was eagerly getting through the story as I'd had enough after like 20 hours of gameplay.
