First off, this is a true GAMER'S GAME. I seriously don't understand any of these bad reviews on Dead island 2. It doesn't seem as though they're talking about the same game I played, maybe they played it wrong? Who knows... I've been a heavy gamer for my whole life. Been there with PS1, 2, 3, 4, and now 5. I spent 600 hours plus on the janky mess that was Dead Island 1 because I loved it so much as a teenager. I enjoyed the hell out of Dying Light 1, played for 200 hours. (DL 2 was pretty bad, didn't enjoy it but played for 50 hours) I just finished my first play-through of Dead Island 2, here's what I think of it: Dead Island 2 is easily one of my favorite games of all time already, no exaggeration. It is a breath of fresh air in the gaming world as someone who has been very disappointed with the lack of passion and effort being put into games in recent times. This game is SO fun from start to finish, so well done. From the voice acting to the cut scenes, to the music, the atmosphere, the game mechanics, how flawlessly it works... I was in awe throughout my first playthrough as Carla which took 30 hours. The only thing I can think of that isn't great is sometimes when you hit a zombie it can stutter around a little, but it is a very minor issue that I'm sure they will fix. One thing that disappointed me is that they did leave out one special zombie, (one of my favorites) that I hope they add in the future, along with a bunch of other awesome stuff! They have the opportunity to support this game for a long time, I will keep buying anything they put out for it, it is THAT good. To me, so far this game tangles with the very best of the last decade or more, right at release. Congratulations from me Deep Silver, Dambuster Studios.

The Last Of Us is the best story I have ever experienced, out of any video game I've played, movie I've watched or book I've read. It gives you the most incredible feelings a game could ever give you. 11/10 I played through the story on PlayStation 3 six or seven times. They remastered it for PlayStation 4, I played through it at least two times. They did an absolutely incredible "rebuild" in 2022 for PlayStation 5. I have played it once already and plan to play it again and again and again. The money I have paid to be able to experience these games isn't even something that matters to me. They are worth so much more than that. This is a testament to how great this story is. P.S. don't play The Last of Us Part 2. It will leave your soul wounded and wishing you could permanently forget selective things.
