The themes of the movie are important, especially in this day and age. I watched this way back in 81 or 82, when I was in high school. It was based on a real social experiment and illustrates how people can be led to places they never imagined they would go. Anyone complaining about music or actors (no matter if it's justified or not) is just attempting to dismiss or trivialize the content.
