A real life representation of the various intricacies of discrimination and the likewise of the country we live in. Paatal Lok shines with respect to individual performances and has a hold over you on occasions. But it is a fairly big letdown in terms of the storyline and fails to justify the time spent on watching all its 9 episodes. The plot twist fails to impress. It leaves you wanting more. Simply put, Paatal Lok doesnt give you the closure which is expected of a gripping web series! A good effort nevertheless. Its a 2.5 / 5 for me.
