"Twice Shy" is an all-time favorite book, added to my precious pile of favorites as a comfort read with real, authentic characters and touching character development. Tackling heavier subjects like mental illnesses, caregiving for someone on hospice, hoarding, death and grief, the book is surprisingly light hearted and had me laughing real, genuine fits of laughter so strong I struggled to read. The romance is so beautiful and intense that I had to shield my eyes or put the book aside for a moment so my heart wouldn't burst. This had me sit in love and in grief, comfortably, and I adored it. A book for the lovers and the dreamers. I will recommend this book to anyone who will hear it.
