This doc series is very well put together, and I appreciate that it has a lot of balancing voices, and takes time and care to unfold it’s story, artfully. But, in the end... try as I did to be appalled, or mortified or shocked by the actions and motives of the fellowship/“family”... honestly, I couldn’t. I’ll grant that this organization has some strange ways, and the secrecy that undergirds its recent years, does feel odd and suspicious... but I don’t think what they are doing is sinister or evil. Overall, it felt like there was just not much “there”, there to me.
