I was amazed throughout , of the superb acting ability of Dennis Quaid, to portray Ronald Reagan. For that alone, I was captured by this movie. Not sure how accurate it is, after all, it IS a movie... but I was completely caught up in and enjoyed the movie. Was fast moving, as they did try to cover A LOT.. and yet , I'm sure there was much , much more that could have been included. The actress who played Nancy Reagan was excellent also. They certainly portrayed them as a loving couple. Reagan appeared to be a man of great faith and character. Reagan was portrayed as a real " hero", for sure, and we all know how deceitful politics can be, however, well worth seeing, in my opinion. It sparked my interest in learning more about the man, as I was in my 20's when he was President and my interest at that time was not in politics. Thumbs up! I may even go see it again.

I loved this movie! I am an ' older' woman but young at heart..this movie was so cute! If you have kids, or grandkids, take them, if you're an adult who likes to laugh , go see it yourself! Very entertaining, loved the actors, the fun storyline and some touching moments. I am a firm believer of making the most of your life, and this movie helps deliver that message. Many laugh out loud moments too! Go see it!

I just needed to 'get out of the house', so chose this movie because nothing else looked interesting. Figured this might just be a silly, immature flick but I didn't care, as I wasn't expecting much except some mindless entertainment.. and it seemed to start that way...However, as it progressed, it actually ended up being a good movie! Held my interest the entire time, the main actors all did well in their characters . I felt a sweet fondness and chemistry between 'Maddie' and 'Percy '. There is swearing and nudity, and will appeal to younger crowd, I'm sure, but I think older folks like me will also find humor and sensitivity in it. Left me leaving there feeling good. Thumbs up!
