What is an overdramatic disappointment! Prabhas delivers an awful performance, and the first half is plagued by forced comedy that falls flat. The first half of the movie is particularly disappointing, Prabhas's acting during these segments only adds to the frustration, making it difficult to stay invested. Deepika Padukone and Saswata Chatterjee are mediocre at best! The film's sole saving grace is Amitabh Bachchan, whose stellar performance brings much-needed depth and gravitas. Again, despite all the flaws, Amitabh Bachchan's exceptional performance provides some redeeming quality, making the movie worth watching for his contribution alone. Overall, "Kalki 2898 AD" fails to live up to its potential, relying too heavily on its star power without delivering a coherent or engaging story. I would have rated it 0/10, but Amitabh Bachchan's stellar performance earns them at least 1/10 from me.
