I don’t know about this. I have a not watched the first 2 episodes & I find myself thinking I need to do a whole bunch of research on who these people are that the characters as based on. The episodes did not give any background as to who they are. Are you meant to just know? Does the creator assume the viewer has knowledge? I’m left confused. How did the Russell’s come into their “new” money? Where did they move from? Did they come from humble beginnings? Why on earth is Berta Russell so angry and horrible!?
