I don't tend to watch many shows on Netflix because of how easy it is for me to become obsessed with something and have it become my #1 priority. That being said, I had the feeling that I was watching too many pointless videos on YouTube so I asked myself why I was paying for a Netflix subscription if I wasn't going to use it. So I went on to the app and found my favorite show: Young Royals. I have hyped this show up to all my bestfriends and although they never really listen to my recommendations, some of them did this time. I can happily say that they love it too. I'm impatiently waiting for them to finish up the incredibly short 6 episode season so I can talk all about how incredible this show is with them. It doesn't take place in a random high school in America but rather a notoriously rich boarding school in Sweden. The main protagonist is a sexually-confused teen member of the Swedish royal family who has his every move dictated by not only his family and friends but by the entire world. But, even with such an intense background that seems like an unrealistic lifestyle, you relate to the characters style of dressing, actions, and emotions. I'm not sure why I have never heard of any of these actors before because they all bring each character to life. Even the people behind the cameras put in so much effort in making this a show people could find themselves in without having to advertise for its diversity. Having people of different body shapes, skin textures and colors is just seen as real life. There are not enough good things I can say about how different this show makes you view your own life.
