As a long time Sopranos fan, having seen the series at least 15 times, I was very much looking forward to this movie but unfortunately was somewhat disappointed. What made the series great was how natural the characters were and the flow. This movie, unfortunately, feels like I'm watching actors play roles. I thought the 4 best performances (in order) were by Michael Gandolfini, young Livia, young Silvio and Dickie. The pace of the movie didn't hold up to what we have come to expect from the series and felt rushed. Perhaps a movie format wasn't the best way to tell the story of how it all started. It was fun to see many references that tied into the series
