Too much nudity, sex, and F-bombs. Especially too many G-D's. Very disrespectful. And, I didn't like the ending. If I'd known the ending, I wouldn't have bothered to watch it. I couldn't understand some of the characters' reason for being. The only meaningful part was when Mercy's mother is holding her, and Mercy cries. Tough, lying Mercy finally shows emotion. Speaking of emotion...the scene in the morgue when Margaret has the laughing fit --- Lord help Nicole's face. I though it was going to split open. She looked very frightening. Bless her heart. ❤️ Most people don't watch shows to see real life. Unless, if course, it's a true story. Which this was not.We're usually looking for the happy ending, the sigh of relief. This is all my simple opinion, though.

Great! Some artistic liberties were taken, but it didn't change the action and reaction to God.

I was so absorbed in this film, I didn't even realize it was Dudley (Harry Melling)playing Poe...excellently, I might add. Christian Bale was fantastic, as always. Some good twists and turns. It's imaginative style leads one to think E.A.Poe wrote "Nevermore" because of the events that unfold.
