I bought this a while back knowing nothing about it, purely because it was about skaters and I was a figure skater as a child and love anything to do with the sport. It reads perfectly from the point of view of young adults in their early 20s muddling their way through life. The characters are easy to follow yet complex enough to feel real. The main plot is steady throughout with lots of romance and spice sprinkled through. I loved the little ending time jump (no spoilers) and how sweetly it rounded out the main characters' stories. I've been in a reading slump and this has pulled me right out, I finished it in 5 evenings. My minor complaint is that I would have enjoyed a little more skating moments in the book but that's all. I'm about to move on to her other book Wildfire and I can't wait.
