These comments are so much better than the acting in the film. I watch a lot of dubbed movies and tv shows, but imo this is not the usual type of dub. I think this movie was filmed with the actors speaking English and then they dubbed English on top of that. The actors lips moved perfectly with the dialogue but holy balls, the entire script was orated in one take - the first one. It’s like a TikTok announcer did the whole thing. It was like Always Sunny’s Kitton Mittons. It’s like a local car dealership commercial. The voices on Google maps are better. The monster sounds like me when I was trying to scare my sister when we were kids, like “RAWR.” Wrong words were stressed and if there was any intonation, it was at the wrong time. The premise was so promising and the cgi was actually not bad.
