This is a MUST SEE...I wonder how many other events have been buried from the public view. Please take time out to see this on the big screen, the live music can't be duplicated...the raw talent and energy exude from the screen. It's people of color at its best!

The timeliness of this movie is on point...from the beginning to the end, all I could think about is we as a people should have never have been brought to this strange land in the 1st place...I have to keep in mind that God's Plan is for us all to embrace each other in unconditional love, grace, and forgiveness. Not to lump each race into balls of prejudgement. I applaud Mr. Stevenson and the Equal Justice Initiative for their perseverance, compassion, and love for humanity. I saw the movie Thursday, 1/9/20 and will go again with some of the cast members that were in the church scene tomorrow, 1/11/20. I am just so grateful that times are slowly changing, and that there is someone in the corner of the unlawfully incarcerated ready to hear and work to uncover the truth. All I know is Prayer Changes Things!

This movie has you talking to the characters in the movie. I totally loved it. I love that it's not the kind of movie that's shot in the dark...you can see Everything happening. I've gone once and will go back and see it again. #iloveoctaviaspencer!
