Why One Star? Let me explain, in Detail. Angel Studios is known for creating movie content that fans want through crowdfunding, but they went against this model when they released The Shift, a movie that no one wanted produced. Despite over three years and five crowdfunding rounds, "The Shift" only managed to raise 4.5 million dollars. In stark contrast, the Wingfeather Saga, another project by Angel Studios, raised over 5 million dollars in just two weeks through crowdfunding. It's worth noting that both The Chosen and The Shift were the first two projects by Angel Studios. While neither was chosen by the crowd, The Chosen was well-received by fans and is now on its way to season five. In contrast, The Shift was not wanted by anyone and received lackluster support from fans as The Chosen has proven to be a success for Angel Studios. Now for the Movie itself. The Shift had a talented cast and a decent script, but it ultimately failed to deliver a satisfying viewing experience due to its sloppy and illogical ending. It managed to keep the audience engaged for the most part, but the last fifteen minutes were a complete derailment that left viewers confused and disappointed. Despite the strong performances from the actors and the potential for a compelling story, the lack of a coherent and well-executed ending ultimately undermined the film's quality.

I'm a big Angel Studios Fan! However, we must be reminded this is not Angel Studios. This film was Distributed by Angel and was passed by the Angel Guild for a theatrical release. I must be honest; the film dragged a-lot. Very... very slow, a low-budget film at that. As great as the Ending may have been (I even felt emotional), I couldn't help but feel it wasn't worth the money of buying a ticket to see it. It was "ok" but not at all what I thought It was going to be, a full-fledged film in all aspects? No, 1 1/2 hours of spotted dialogue and people walking.
