.... I don't know what to say here but everything you love about Master Chief is pretty much not here... the series spends WAY to much time with Master Chief out of his suit and really should have only given us a glimpse into what he is like out of the suit. Apperently he also is starting to love a chick that's from the enemy side as well.... seems more like a b rated anti-government tv series with quirks and b-series typical bad guy government issues behavior that don't really work to hint towards making a case for soldiers to leave the government and people fighting for the freedom of everyone... also makes Master Chief out to be this unstable mess of a hero that doesn't keep his cool and also finds out he was kidnapped? When in reality those kids said yes to the spartan program and that's why the kids were always hailed as Heros. Here in the story they his memory and everything is wiped and he spends more time trying to figure out who he is vs saving the world so that kinda sucked.... All in all I do not like it at all... its like one of those movies that took a franchise name and decided to do whatever with it to make money and run.... Honestly with the story and how it's turning out to be they just should have made their own scifi movie series and not slapped halo on it and called it good to go... the only thing halo about it is the armor, some of the guns they will show, vehicles, and character names.... the only character I really consider to be halo in this enough is Dr. Halsy maybe but everything else just screams some other sci-fi movie and not halo.... Watchable but this series should not be called halo and from what I've heard it is also considered NOT cannon
