As a cinephile, I’d say it’s now my favorite Christmas movie and one of the best, compelling films I’ve ever seen. Thank you, Alexander Payne. And Paul Giamatti and Dominic Sessa as a pair on screen was just a breath of fresh air. I applaud Da’Vine Joy Randolph’s performance as well. Great job to the cast and crew for putting together a film that felt so raw and real. Oh and production designer Ryan Warren Smith allows us to time travel to the 1970s. Going to see a second time, it’s worth the 1 hour drive.

Quite the adaptation of Shakesbeard’s Hamlet. Beautifully imaginative. The score tugs at your heartstrings along with the storytelling. Some holes in the overall plot but easily overlooked as the piece as a whole is incredible Kirsten’s character development is enchanting & Jeevan’s_Frank’s_and lil Kirsten’s chemistry is lovely to watch A fun ride to be apart of in this adapted big Play on Life. I recommend it for the entertainment value, incredible performances, lovely score that hooks me every time and plenty of gasps within the small details and big booms I will be viewing the Finale tonight If you enjoy Patrick Somersville’s work on The Leftovers and Maniac this is likely up your alley As uplifting as it is dark- a delicate balance that’s done superbly well
