This is the most quirky sitcom ever . It is so unusual I took a while to appreciate it. It is so amazing. Very funny . I felt it took a while to develop the characters , then I realised they remained generally true to their strange selves and I grew to accept them. This I did not anticipate. Sometimes it went off at a tangent but the whole series was so well written and planned that all was explained and rounded up so well in the last series. I felt a loss when it finished as I loved it.

This is one of the best shows I have seen in ages. The script, acting and storyline are so current. The care system is represented with such vivid reality. The way mental health difficulties are highlighted and how impossible it is to live within this system which is set up to fail. However it is laugh out loud , curl your toes humour. I loved Alma, and for all their terrible behaviour her mum and grandma manage to pull off your respect for them even though they are dreadful. Wow more please.
