Seasons 1 & 2 had a good storyline and cast. Was a nice, casual show to go thru. Everyone was unique and fun to watch in their own way. Overall, it was light hearted yet, pleasing. The moment I saw the first episode of season 3, that's it for me. It just started going downhill from there. I get it, new characters, new personalities, but there was no reason for everyone to be acting like they were developmentally handicapped. Every other character on screen can be spotted doing totally pointless, nearly retarded actions. No sense of the awe and fun that the original cast had. Never have I wanted to choke out a character as useless as Luke for example. Why, just...why?

When I watched the American original, I thought it was a really interesting storyline, but was disappointed numerous times with the acting, dialogue, casting (dear lords the clichés) and the overall quality of the show. Then I saw the Korean version and decided to give it a shot. I do not watch Korean shows. I repeat, I do not, ever, watch Korean shows. But after watching this one, it was everything I would have wanted, with some of the greatest cast and acting I've seen in a long while. Everyone was near perfect. Never have I had that much anticipation over a story that I should already be familiar with. A breath of fresh air would be an understatement. It was amazing. Kudos to everyone on the Korean team!

Honestly, I started watching this as I've run out of things to watch. First one or two episodes were rather tame, with a bit of mystery and a sense of potential danger...then BAM (!) the show took a quick turn quite quickly and things just started spiraling. You learn to slowly learn to love and hate certain characters over the series, who were quite decently developed. Sure, there were some leaps in logic here and there, no show is perfect, but they can be overlooked. You will quickly grow attached to certain characters to the point that you get proud of them, or wish for a redemption arc, or simply get annoyed, but that's the whole point of good character development isn't it? These people on screen felt real enough, and acted the way they did in-universe, no holds barred, no excuses. Absolutely torn at the finale, really baiting you in for more. I'd give this a minimum 7.5/10, maybe as high as 8.5/10 Would totally recommend this for anyone who's a fan of Lord of the Flies, Lost (before it got too convoluted), Battle Royale (with far less gore, more plot), Riverdale (haven't watched but I hear it gets dark)
