Honestly, I started watching this as I've run out of things to watch. First one or two episodes were rather tame, with a bit of mystery and a sense of potential danger...then BAM (!) the show took a quick turn quite quickly and things just started spiraling. You learn to slowly learn to love and hate certain characters over the series, who were quite decently developed. Sure, there were some leaps in logic here and there, no show is perfect, but they can be overlooked. You will quickly grow attached to certain characters to the point that you get proud of them, or wish for a redemption arc, or simply get annoyed, but that's the whole point of good character development isn't it? These people on screen felt real enough, and acted the way they did in-universe, no holds barred, no excuses.
Absolutely torn at the finale, really baiting you in for more. I'd give this a minimum 7.5/10, maybe as high as 8.5/10
Would totally recommend this for anyone who's a fan of Lord of the Flies, Lost (before it got too convoluted), Battle Royale (with far less gore, more plot), Riverdale (haven't watched but I hear it gets dark)
