This series had a great cast and so much potential. The first 3 episodes set up suspense and promise for a cracking show but unfortunately this does not eventuate. A flurry of new characters introduced in the second half fail to gain traction with the audience, unassisted by a weak convoluted absurd Swiss-cheese plot. Surely the limp Wallace Webb has to be the most clueless character in the history of script writing. The last episode had a little recount of plot evidently to remind the bewildered audience wtf was going on. Very underwhelming in the wash up.

Good film due to the calibre of the acting but the Labbie is definitely the star of the whole show💕

5 stars for Morocco snd gorgeous Hemsworth. Otherwise a gorgeous setting is ruined by Americans and their hideous neurotic lives. Zero chemistry between Dern and Hemsworth. Tedious plot. Terrible script. Lousy acting. And Who the f doesn’t back up a book they’re writing??

Just an awful adaptation.. absolutely no chemistry between any of the actors. Horrendous cinema verite style.. just unpleasant in every possible method

A whodunnit is fun to watch but overall the plot was weak and the lead actor who played Maya was not good enough to carry the whole series. The wonderful Armitage barely made an appearance and the compelling Lumley could have been far more effectively utilised. There were many unanswered plot points but foremost was the nanny staging the deep fake for a hidden camera she didn’t know existed? What was the connection between the girlfriend who gave Maya the nannycam and the nanny? This was the critical complication of the plot and it was unexplained. Did I miss something? Regardless, this was one of many incidents which were implausible. Too many holes.

Love the original so would always watch the sequel! Matthew Goode was a great choice as he gave Wickham so much likeability. He and Lydia had much more chemistry than the actors who played Elizabeth and Darcy. Really awful casting there. Zero chemistry and no beliveability. She wore the same dress the entire time! Zero sex appeal.
