Barbie movie is not balanced well stylistically. It is a mix of funny pink plastic humor (which is super funny!) and a weighted womens' rights message (which is boring and for mature audience only). The message is something that you do not expect to see by watching a trailer. So, it is not for little kids because of the mature content, and it is disappointing for older audience because they come to see a funny movie, as advertised, but it is not 100% comedy. All the actors played well nonetheless.
