I’ve never left a book review before but I feel I should since I chose this book because of Reese W’s recommendation. I do wonder if she read it. It doesn’t seem like the stories she usually gravitates to. The romance is thin and eye rollingly written in many parts. I’m fine with YA fiction but I’m not sure if this book is intended to be YA. It feels like something I would have read as a pre-teen but with more graphic sex scenes. The characters were fine, it’s the writing that made me disappointed in myself for not abandoning the book after 50 pages. For me, it never improved.
