Feels like Scorsese found a really good book he wanted to make a film of, and then grabbed his old pals to be in it even though they’re not credible playing the ‘earlier’ scenes. Also casting legendary Italians as Hoffa and Sheeran doesn’t work. The details are much more specific than the 1992? Hoffa but Nicholson owned the role(even though I think he’s Jewish?) but his Hoffa blows pacinos away, sorry don corleone🤫 As usual Scorsese’s music, time periods effects, and supporting cast are excellent! But deniro ain’t no Sheeran and he ain’t pulling off 30y/o and more. Sorry bob. I’m actually bob and al, and Martin especially, can’t see that! B to B-
