I have never written a movie review before but for this one I had too. I unfortunately, like a lot of young women, related to this movie too much. I feel that this sort of experience with older men/ predatory people isn’t talked about enough from this perspective. I’ve personally felt her hope, her intrusive thoughts, and not to the same degree but the deep fear and then the desire for closure/comfort that follow and start you back on that path. All in all a great movie for not just women but everyone to watch. Despite some of the comments it’s not over done. They have to use dramatics to make a good movie and a point. Brilliant acting and writing, this movie did a wonderful job of making me feel a little less alone in my experiences.
