Notice it's mainly the white people giving 5 stars? Check the 1 and 2 stars reviews because they say it all, this is sadistic, racist and just stupid . Why are shows like these being made in this day and age ? I tried to like this but it doesn't get any better for the black family and it's just a mental torture really, not an accurate depiction of how strong black families were in that era and all in all TRASH, not worth the emotions you'll feel watching this as they made the black family seem so small and silly . hated it, definitely shows it was produced by white people 😂 great actors though, well for the most part.
