When you read the description, at first you think, this is gonna be yet another overly saturated prison and cop drama, but then you get sucked in and discover a whole new perspective on a world that so many of us are both terrified of and fascinated with. You fall in love with both hero and criminal alike. The characters have depth with real human layers of good and evil, empathy and apathy. Jeremy Renner is perfect. His supporting cast is so good they could all have singular story lines of their own. I'm so impressed. Can you tell? Ha! By far one of the best modern dramas I've binge watched in YEARS. Possibly, EVER.
