There is no way you can give this work anything less than 5 Stars. Even if there are individual band members you don't care for, the rest of this lineup was comprised of probably the best song writers and performers in Rock & Country Rock history. It also had a Folk Music Bloodline in the form of Bob Dylan who pound for pound was the best song writer and artist in this band of renowned performers. Even the youngest member of the band ( Tom Petty ) had established himself as an upper level Rock n Roll songwriter and stage act along with his band ( The Heartbreakers ), but he stood in awe of the creative work that surrounded him as they all added to the writing and performing of this album. George Harrison brought his Beatles Influence ( without question, the greatest Rock Band and writers in the history of music ), as well as his exceptional solo career after the Beatles. Roy Orbison's presence as one of the best crossover artists and Outlaw performers from the Old Time Rock band to modern Country Music. Jeff Lynne who wrote a string of fantastic hit songs with Electric Light Orchestra and also contributed as one of the best producers in the business along with Harrison. This was more than just a Rock and Roll Band. This was truly the definition of a "SUPER" group. The mega hits from the album were enough to make the price of the work worth the purchase ( End of the Line, Handle With Care, Not Alone Any More), but the rest of the songs highlighted the individual greatness that made up this band. This was an outstanding finished album.
