My goodness, this version of Ripley is visually stunning - black and white, atmospheric Italian settings. Incredibly chilling acting performance by Ripley ( the menacing Moriarty from Sherlock Homes). Much more psychopathic in character than the Amazingly Talented Mr Ripley ( Matt Damon) which was great, but a lot more detailed in story and character.
