Back in 1971 when this first came on TV I was 11 years old. I remember being riveted by the story of acceptance with being different by yourself, and by others.
It is a timeless story that is really worth revisiting nowadays. If you have little ones I would definitely turn them onto this ... the music is great and so are the story and the visuals. Grade A+
