Although Tenet scratched my itch for an energetic, tech film with cool fight scenes, I didn't believe the main character John David Washington. It's not his fault. It's because I, like the rest of the world, have been "Bond-ized." Tenet is a spy movie filled with undercover lies, world domination, destruction and yes, the hero saves the girl. I can't help but make a small comparison. But 007 was tall, well dressed and a ladies man among other things. James was cool. The Protagonist was none of those things and perhaps more relatable. Nice job John.
