The first season was fantastic, but the second season fell short. There’s a lot of buildup across several episodes, but only a brief payoff, like in the last 15 seconds of the fifth episode—then, back to more buildup until the final moments of the season finale. It feels like reading a 700-page book where most of it is just introduction, followed by a quick 10-page climax and a single page of suspense to hook you for the next season. You can do better than that!

The movie starts in NYC 2010, but the first 2 minutes of the movie is showing buildings that were built way after 2010. E.g: One World Trade finished in 2014 and 432 Park Avenue finished in 2015. I get the feeling this is going to be a terrible movie…

I like it, yet they make some minor mistakes: in the the 3rd episode, Cunégonde has a dog, Pipou, a Boston Terrier. This is 1774, but Boston terrier breed originated around 1870 in USA. Boston Terries are called the “American Gentleman”, and it is considered the first American breed.

I’m only 2 episodes in, but I’m not sure I like it. It is a very important issue, but in my opinion there are some plot errors that don’t make sense. For example, how she is accusing of rape the father of one of her students, but the student continues to be in her class. Wouldn’t that amount to a conflict to both, the teacher and the student? First, having her as a teacher could impact the student concentration and therefore, his learning. If the student gets a bad grade, he could say she is taking it out on him, etc. The other plot error is the story of the wine glasses. Unless something else unfolds, it doesn’t make any sense. If he poured some drug in the wine, it doesn’t make sense that he wasn’t paying attention to the wine glasses and he actually drinks from her glass, but she is the one who gets drugged but not him. 🤔🤨
