My favorite book by my favorite athor. Flora and Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures is a great book and I recommend this book to anyone who likes fiction, Adventures, and Kate DiCamillo. Flora Belle Buckman is a natural-born cynic who loves to read comics, her mother is a writer who writes romance novels, but flora hates romance. Flora’s parents are divorced and Flora will rather live with her father who is a very nice man unlike her mother who smokes and is very rude. So, once in the Tickham’s backyard Flora saw a out of control oversized vacuum cleaner and Mrs. Tickham and the vacuum olmost suck up a squirrel but Flora came to the rescue and saves the squirrel names it Ulysses, but then Flora released that he is a supper hero! “Together Flora and Ulysses will conquer villains, defend the defenseless, and protect the weak. Or something.”
