My mom hates Seth Rogen’s films, but she loved this movie lol We both thought it was hilarious. This is a feel-good comedy with a little raunch & a romantic twist. It ain’t THAT deep people. Live a little. Have yourself a good laugh. Go see this movie!

Us is unlike any horror film you might expect it to be. Not only is there a ton of symbolism & deeper meaning (which isn’t surprising considering the similarities of Peele’s first successful attempt at horror, Get Out), but Us contains all the elements of what a great movie should. You know you’ve witnessed something amazing when it evokes all emotions & then is left open for interpretation. Even if you don’t “get it”, Us will have you at the edge of your seat AND cracking up all in one shot. The point of ANY movie or tv show or book, and any form of entertainment for that matter really, is to get lost in it; to explore a different world, one that’s unlike your own reality. It’s not meant to be practical. Us is the epitome of TRUE ART. So if you’re looking for good entertainment, but unwilling to travel down the rabbit hole then you may end up disappointed.
