I’m surprised that it so popular. The storyline is incredibly lame, including the monsters that look like regulars from your local iron gym. It’s gripping to a degree (you become kinda curious to what kind of lame it’s going to decent at the next episode). On the retrospect it’s just another take on the ancient myth of sacrificing oneself for the humanity: Christ, Kezalcaotol etc. But in reality I think producers were totally running out of ideas and were making it up as they went at the last possible moment. I want 5 hours of my life back. Watch Alice in Borderland instead guys. Don’t thank me.
