A sensational book that is hard to put down as it races across countries and spy networks. Full of nail biting twists and turns and the grim reality faced by some very courageous operators who keep the peace that we all take for granted… have a thought for these people when you enjoy your next coffee in the sunshine.. Highly recommended.

This is an outstanding novel that grabs you from page 1 and you cannot put it down till the Epilogue at the end. A lot of useful tradecraft is revealed which surprised me. It is highly recommended for an exciting read by any adult.

I enjoyed reading this authentic depiction of life on a large property in the unique Australian outback. However, I found the author to be self indulgent, self focused, and hardly an inspiration to others… She described her comfortable life on a Packer owned company cattle station (with all the perks) that does not reflect the substantial contribution nor experience of most wives on remote properties.

A very interesting insight into the wartime ‘resistance’ movement based on excellent research about ‘the golden doves’. What surprised me was the chillingly accurate data about nazis ‘child breeding’ activity, as well as subsequent attempts to find the 3.5million Nazis who escaped overseas through the support of sympathisers such as the Vatican. Well worth reading!
