Absolutely love the books, but the first episode was dreadful and I had to push through (trooper that I am) to get to the end of the episode. It was painful to watch. The acting was as bad as the dramatisation. They can’t pronounce Derfel but that’s a more personal gripe- r’s need to be rolled! It’s not Duh-vle.
