Spoilers. They lost me as soon as they showed an almost complete lack of human reaction to the fact that they had just seen ghosts, balls rolling, etc, and had even caught it all on film. The final clencher was the brother and sister texting each other instead of calling, and not screaming to the other person for help. I mean there is zero reason that they couldn't have done those things and still made it scary, or even scarier, to be honest. Also, since we already saw the clowns ad nauseum in the earlier movies, that also lost it's scare factor for me. I'm being generous with 2 stars. I will say that for me, the other hell house movies were even worse.

I think this was poorly cast. Had someone else played the main character, it could have been great. The whole monotone thing drives me crazy. It's like being too lazy to speak properly or something.

I've been watching since season one and will probably always watch. The reason for only 3 stars is troublesome behavior and production manipulation that take away from the enjoyment. How about if production completely butts out of it ACCEPT to address bad behavior, because as it stands it's the opposite.

Like other reviewers (wish I would have read them BEFORE I watched), I was very tempted to ff through parts of this movie, and I may as well have for as much sense as it made. I see people on here getting all pretentious with others who wrote similar reviews as mine as if we're just not smart enough or deep enough or whatever makes them feel better. Those people must try real hard. Bottom line is, you shouldn't have to go look up what a movie meant after you watch it, and definitely not a movie as boring as this one. The actors were great. What they were working with was not.

Worth the watch imo, especially compared to a lot of the other movies on Hulu. I never read the book so there were points in this movie when I wasn't sure what was going on (in a good way), as in wondering who you could trust, etc. I'm surprised by so many negative reviews on this one. I don't know if maybe a lot of people read the book so they were very disappointed in the movie? Anyway, again I thought it was pretty good.

I liked this (as far as it held my attention and brought some awareness to a cause that just shouldn't even be happening in this country). I did feel that this documentary could have been so much better though. It really needed more of the homeless people telling their stories and of their day to day struggles. So much time was spent showing panoramic views of the cities, etc., which did add to the documentary, but because it was so short, I would have rather heard from the people. I guess what I really wish is that it were longer. This problem and the people need and deserve more time than this.

I'll tell you one thing... say what you will about this movie, I guarantee it's one that you won't soon forget (even if you wish for nothing more). I am trying to figure out if John and the hole even happened, or of it was just a story that the red head's mother told her. I am not going to pretend that I understand this movie, but I didn't hate it as much as most people here did. It was very disturbing at times. I personally thought the acting was really good, and of course I love Michael C. Hall, so there's that. That's about all I have to say about it, due to the lack of anything else to say.

About 1/3 in I was going to stop watching this slow, boring movie, but I said "let me go see them this to decide if I should continue", and the reviews that I read all said it was great. I read "slow burn". Well they got the slow part right. I wish I had stopped when I was originally going to. This was an absolute waste of time. So ridiculous, not scary, and just a drawn out mess of a movies. If you're like me and came on here wanting to know if you should wait it out... DON'T. There are so many good things to watch rather than wasting precious time watching this.

Spoiler: How did she manage to get out of the hole, carrying her son no less? They just left that lovely, little detail out completely. 🤷‍♀️🤦 This was the most slow moving, boring movie I've ever seen. The whole thing could have been done in 15 minutes or less, and that's what it should have been... made it a short film at best. At least the acting was alright, but that's about all that was decent here.

Warning, Spoilers: I'm currently watching this and have been enjoying it immensely. That is, up until the most recent episode I watched (season 1, episode 8) where the android becomes pregnant. This took something that could be at least slightly realistic (if you use your imagination) to something ridiculous. I guess she's what? Pregnant from the sex she had in the simulator (which was also so silly)?An Android carrying a child and using human blood? It is just absolutely illogical beyond anything else this show has offered thus far. It's a shame that the writers obviously ran out of semi-realistic ways to keep this going and resorted to reeeaaaching. I am now worries for what is to come if this is what has happened already. I will continue to watch, but with a lot less excitement and satisfaction than before.
