It started out interesting, being in the real world first, but it was also fast paced because literally Omnimon appeared before the rest of the team??? The digivolution sequence for Agumon and Gabumon - amazing, but it stops right there. The initial plot regarding the holy digimon - interesting new approach, but the progress into it is aimless. They set a new interesting plot, but have no direction, just facing random enemies each episode with no significance or value for growth. I see many people saying it's better than the original because the OG was slow, but I thought even if slow, the development was great. Now, some of the digimon get random digivolutions with no proper explanation, it feels like they're just forcing in some fanservice. Also, this reboot just feels like some fanfiction done specifically just for Tai. Such a waste considering the art style does look better than the original. Not saying it's that great, even, considering how it's 2020 but the style still looks it's from early 2000s. Simply put, I find it so hard to keep watching each new episode.
