I didn't compare Datta's book with any other Indian writer. Wanted to start fresh after being disappointed by A Touch of Eternity(said to be best selling). But this 1 also make me feel like a mistake reading it. After finishing When I am with You, got disappointed again, greatly.POV is our own, mine won't match with others but why couldn't I relate the whole plot? It said a lot about crypto currency, i get it, new point. The cursing? Enjoyed even though it was totally unnecessary at some point. The idea of Aishwarya's nusery was also good, but she shouldn't have flipped her personality later(as Datta made her to be).
Other characters felt childlike to me. Some of the explained parts were really not needed. The ending wasn't predictable to me because I thought the main characters would break off everything, since not every story get a happy ending.
But in the world of fiction, everything and anything happens, isn't it? It was visible that the ending was done in a rush. Did the author got bored himself? Because I got. And the sex scene(not making love)shouldn't have felt like it was the most awaited for the readers. I thought it was a dream.
Basically a lot of lines didn't make sense to me at all. And it has happened in Datta's other books too.
I feel like..he has a great imagination but he fails to put it in a place. I hope I can read more stories that actually make sense to the readers because I know a lot of ppl also feel like me.
