White privilege on display--the critics must have gotten a different version of this film downloaded from the studio. It's fantastic, engrossing, intriguing, beautifully shot. Nicole Kidman at her very best, putting her all into the silent spaces that amplify her emotions. If you read the book you are going to love the movie.
