I agree with most of these comments. We loved the race itself and the perseverance of these amazing athletes but there was way too much focus on the American teams - especially since the best US team finished only in 14th place. We were continually trying find out how the Canadian team was doing as they had so little coverage - and they finished in 2nd place!! I also wonder why NZ wasn’t disqualified after having to be rescued. I feel bad for the teams that got no coverage at all. They didn’t even show the last team that finished the race before the cutoff time. There was too much time spent repeating the same back stories over and over. This time could have been spent covering the actual race and the other teams involved. I hope the producers take this feedback and use it to improve the editing of the next race and make it more equitable. It’s called the WORLD’s toughest race - not America’s toughest race.
