Poor pacing and boring dialogue (and boring lightsaber battle sequences) really keep this movie from taking off. New characters are brought on but dont add any value to the storyline, and I wonder if it is just an excuse to sell more merchandise. Incorporating Carrie Fisher just didnt work in the movie and a constant cloying need for fan-service kept this movie from any real excitement or imagination. This, all tied into an inexplicable storyline that just seemed sewn together haphazardly leaves a bad taste in the mouth knowing this is the end of a 40 year saga. Still, better than the GoT last season
